Black Garlic Country-Style BBQ Ribs

2 tbsp smoked paprika

2 tbsp light brown sugar

2 tsp pink salt

2 tsp chili powder

2 tsp onion powder

1 tsp ground chipotle pepper

1 tsp pepper

3/4 tsp dried thyme

4 pounds boneless country-style pork ribs

16 ounces Chef Mitch Maier Black Garlic BBQ Sauce 

3/4 c. amber beer or reduced-sodium chicken broth



Cooking Instructions:


Preheat broiler. Mix the first 9 ingredients. Place pork in a foil-lined 15x10x1-in. pan; ru generously with seasonings. Broil 4-5 in.

from heat until browned, 2-3 minutes per side.


Transfer to a 5-qt. slow cooker. Whisk together Black Garlic BBQ Sauce and beer; pour over ribs. Cook, covered, on low until tender,

3-4 hours.


Remove ribs. Reserve 2 cups cooking juices; discard remaining juices. Skim fat from reserved juices. Serve with ribs.
