Black Garlic BBQ Sauce Sandwiches

1 large onion, sliced
3 to 3 1/2 lb chuck or bottom round beef roast
1 tablespoon each garlic powder and onion powder (optional)
1/2 cup Chef Mitch Maier Black Garlic BBQ Sauce
1/2 cup zesty steak sauce
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
10 to 12 sandwich buns
Sliced red onion, Cole slaw, dill pickles and carrot sticks (optional)
Place onions evenly in bottom of slow cooker. Place beef on top of onions. Sprinkle beef with garlic powder and onion powder, if desired.
Mix Black Garlic BBQ Sauce, steak sauce and Worcestershire sauce; pour evenly over beef. Place lid on slow cooker.
Cook on Low for 8 to 10 hours or HIGH for 4 to 5 hours until beef is tender.
Carefully remove lid to allow steam to escape. Place roast on cooking board and shred with 2 forks, or slice thinly and chop,
if you prefer. Stir in additional Black Garlic BBQ Sauce, if desired. Serve shredded beef on buns. Add sliced red onion, Cole slaw,
dill pickles and carrot sticks, if desired.
